Just like yesterday with the Guv’s race. I’ll post the new Minn. Poll numbers on the Senate race soon after 9 tonight and link to the poll story by esteemed colleague Pat Lopez for more details. Then if you want to react to the latest snapshot of the race, you can do it on the Big Q.
To review the bidding:
The last Minn. Poll, taken the second week in July, had DFLer Amy Klobuchar leading by 50-31 over Republican Mark Kennedy. Independence Party nominee Robert Fitzgerald had three percent support in that poll.
Since then, the race has been polled seven times by five other organizations using a range of methods (internet, robo-dialing, traditional phone interview). Every poll has shown Klobuchar ahead but the margins have ranged from five points up to 16.
